Why Wellness Coach Peggy?

I am a Registered Nurse, a Doctor of Natural Health and a  Duke trained Certified Professional Integrative Health Coach. I specialize in stress management,  lifestyle change and behavior change. My passion is helping clients establish workable lifestyle changes to have a more productive, healthy and satisfying life.

I have had a long and fascinating career in Healthcare. Having worn many hats in the profession, I have had a bird’s eye view of the impact from the never ending demands  placed on those that take care of others.  Whether you take care of loved ones, patients, people in your ministry or offer help for others as a volunteer, it is not uncommon to neglect caring for yourself in doing so.  As care givers, you understand what is necessary for well-being. You know that it is important to take time out for yourself, to eat  well, to move, to take care of emtional needs and to have joy in life. However, many of you often feel guilty when you take time for yourself. Many of you are unfamiliar with how to incorporate self-care, while many of you feel you can put it off until later. That “later” time never comes and the stress of taking care of others while neglecting yourself results in a myriad of symptoms, from weight gain, headaches, insomnia, relationship issues to a complete imbalance of  well-being  – in mind, body and spirit.  You cannot do it alone  - everyone needs support, motivation and accountability to make change.

I am dedicated to taking care of you – the care giver. It is my passion to help the very ones that I have shared a passion and a profession with all these years. I will provide guidance to help you identify the areas in your life that you need to change in, whether it is coping with the illness of a loved one or work-life balance, I will help you find inner peace.

My holistic approach of health coaching creates long lasting better health in body, mind and spirit. I love to partner with clients to keep them accountable to reaching their goals in all areas of life. This balanced approach will create a lifetime of wellness in mind, body and spirit.
