About
As a Registered Nurse for 35 years, I have experienced many roles in Nursing and have spent time in various specialties. During my career, I observed a variety of illnesses, and it became clear that many of them could be avoided or treated in less invasive or toxic manners. In my search to learn what we could do to have some control of our health, without reaching for the magic pill, the quick fix, or easy way out, I discovered numerous methods in which to obtain good health, physically, mentally, and spiritually. This led me to further my education in Natural Health earning a Doctorate in Natural Health.
However, I realized there was still a piece missing. People had the information they needed to make a change, but they seemed to be hitting the same obstacles over and over again which blocked them from making the changes they needed. I then discovered the missing link… the Integrative Health Coach.
The Integrative Health Coach provides a structured, supportive partnership with clients to assist them in reaching their goals for optimal health.
My training at Duke Integrative Medicine as an Integrative Health Coach and Certification as a Food Psychology Coach has given me the tools to explore all of the attributes to our health in its wholeness and empower individuals to make the necessary changes they are ready to make, in order to achieve whole health. health.
It takes a commitment to change. I believe this is why you are here with me, to learn how to transform your approach to your health. Together we can embark on achieving good health in body, mind, and spirit.
