Integrative Health Coaching emphasizes pro-active planning for your optimal health and well-being, with “Health” being a comprehensive term for mind, body, spirit, relationships, environment, etc.
I have attached our Wheel of Health as an example of the categories we will touch on. When we think of the word “health” we often think of just the physical well-being. With integrative thinking in mind, we will explore the other factors that affect our total health such as nutrition, activity, stress, environment, supplements, etc. We keep the client’s vision of their whole life and health in focus as we look at lifestyle and behavior changes.
The client must be ready to change for coaching to be effective. Ask yourself these questions to assess your readiness to improve your situation:
What motivated you to be here?
What is the price of NOT taking care of my health right now?
What situations are having a negative impact on my life?
What are YOUR obstacles?
